About the mission

World of Temples is a not-for-profit effort to build a beautiful, structured and trustworthy public registry of Hindu temples across the world — their histories, deities, traditions, architecture and living practice.

Pages will combine open and public sources, community contributions and, in time, verified updates from temple administrations, with transparent sourcing throughout. The archive is in its earliest days; entries shown today are samples.
